How do I check availability and request a quotation?
Send Pervez your event date, event type, venue name and town, together with your full name, telephone number, email address and any important details. You can use the enquiry form, telephone, email or WhatsApp. Pervez will confirm whether the date is available and provide a quotation for your event.
How far in advance should I book my DJ?
Popular wedding dates, Saturdays and Christmas dates can be reserved well in advance, so it is sensible to enquire as soon as your date and venue are confirmed. Short-notice enquiries are also welcome when availability allows.
What affects the quotation?
Each event is quoted individually. The date, venue and location, required playing times, access and setup arrangements, travel and the sound or lighting requirements can all affect the quotation.
Music and event planning
Can I give Pervez a playlist?
Yes. You can send favourite songs, must-play choices and music you would prefer not to hear. A focused list gives Pervez clear guidance while leaving room to read the dance floor and respond to guests during the event.
Can guests request songs?
Yes. Appropriate requests can be taken during the event. They will be balanced with your preferences, the age range of your guests and the atmosphere on the dance floor.
What styles of music can Hurricane Roadshow play?
Pervez has broad music knowledge developed over 25 years, covering music from the 1950s to the present day. This includes pop, soul, Motown, disco, funk, rock, 1980s and 1990s favourites, Ibiza and club classics, and current commercial chart music. The selection is planned around the event and the people attending.
Can Pervez introduce our first dance and make announcements?
Yes. For weddings and other events, Pervez can introduce the first dance and make agreed announcements. Discuss names, timings and wording in advance so every announcement is clear and appropriate.

Do you provide the sound system and lighting?
Yes. Hurricane Roadshow provides professional sound and event lighting suited to the booking and venue. The setup is planned to support clear sound, a lively atmosphere and reliable operation without promising equipment or effects that have not been agreed for the event.
Are you insured and is the equipment PAT-tested?
Yes. Hurricane Roadshow is fully insured, and the electrical equipment used at events is PAT-tested. Current evidence can be supplied to the venue when required.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Yes. Appropriate backup equipment is carried to reduce the risk of an equipment problem interrupting the event. The exact setup and any venue-specific requirements should be confirmed in advance.
What does the venue need to provide?
The venue should provide safe access, suitable setup space, a reliable power supply and enough time for equipment to be brought in, installed and checked. Parking, stairs, loading restrictions, access times and sound limits should be discussed before the event.
